Joey is from Lexington, KY. He has previously worked in the Tidgewell Lab at the University of Kentucky synthesizing analogues of natural products found in cyanobacteria. In this lab, he is working on the catalysis design team. Outside of the lab, he enjoys watching sports and staying active.
